ANCORA IMPARO Model™

Incept your team with a mindset of Endless Learning and Infinite Improvement.

“Ancora Imparo,” said by the artist Michelangelo. The wording itself translates to “I am still learning.” At the age of 87, Michelangelo reportedly uttered this phrase, signaling that even with decades of mastery and monumental achievements behind him, he remained a humble student of life. The message within Ancora Imparo transcends time, emphasizing that learning is a journey without an end, not a goal with a fixed destination.

Michelangelo remains famous today not only for his extraordinary artistic contributions but for embodying the Renaissance ideals of creativity, innovation, and discipline. His enduring legacy is a reminder that continuous learning and improvement is essential for achieving greatness and leaving a lasting impact.

We chose Ancora Imparo as the title of this training because it embodies the very essence of a growth mindset and the commitment to continuous improvement. Success today is driven by constant adaptation, learning, and refinement of skills rather than static knowledge. The phrase reminds us that no matter how much we know or how experienced we are, there is always more to learn and improve. This mindset is essential for individuals and organizations to thrive in a rapidly changing world by fostering resilience, innovation, and problem-solving.

The principles behind Ancora Imparo align with methodologies such as Six Sigma, PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), Kaizen, and Lean methodologies, all of which emphasize iterative learning. Participants will learn how to assess, improve, and adapt processes continuously, whether addressing operational inefficiencies or personal development. However, unlike Six Sigma, which often requires extensive training and months of implementation, or PDCA, which can sometimes be too simplistic to address complex challenges, Ancora Imparo bridges the gap. It offers a balanced approach—comprehensive yet accessible—making it easier to understand and implement without overwhelming participants.

While Six Sigma focuses heavily on statistical analysis and process control, and Lean centers on waste reduction, both often require structured implementation and expert knowledge to yield optimal results. Often, they requires months of training to develop individual experts, but this knowledge transfer is slow, limiting the overall impact on larger teams. These approaches can be difficult to learn and implement depending on an individual’s academic background, making them less effective when introduced to general teams.

Rather than months of training or rigid methodologies, Ancora Imparo allows participants to absorb its core principles and apply them incrementally. The training bridges indeed still using the common adaptable tools, but reduce the complexity, making it adaptable for various industries and roles. By focusing on fostering a growth mindset through small, achievable improvements, this concept empowers participants to implement sustainable changes and ensures that knowledge spreads quickly and widely across teams, creating a culture of continuous improvement.
