Jakarta, 11 August 2024 – IQ DEVPRO® participated as one of the mentors in the “Bestari Connection Forum: Connecting Education to Future Talents and Happiness,” an event organized by BUMI Scholar and Futurist Hub at the Pijar Foundation. This forum aimed to bridge the gap between education and future career paths, offering participants valuable insights and mentoring opportunities to help them navigate their professional journeys with confidence and purpose.
BUMI Scholar (Beasiswa Unggulan Muda Indonesia) itself is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting Indonesian students with talent-based education, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Quality Education (Goal 4). BUMI Scholar’s mission is to create high-quality talents ready for the future by providing scholarships, career training, mentoring, project-based learning, and university collaboration programs. The “Bestari Connection Forum” is a monthly program that offers engaging, relaxed, substantive, and inspirational discussions, both online and offline, across various cities in Indonesia.
The event began with a thought-provoking talk show featuring Jehian Panangian Sijabat, CEO of Mantappu Corp, who shared his entrepreneurial journey and insights into the evolving business landscape; Rezky Ardiyan, Policy Analyst at the National Institute of Public Administration, that discussed the critical role of policy in shaping the future of education and employment especially in the State Owned Enterprise point of view; and Bryna Meivitawanli, Head of Management Laboratory at Binus International School. Bryna, who is also a MURI record holder as the youngest Ph.D. graduate from a Chinese university at the age of 25 and a member of Mensa Indonesia, shared her journey and insights on the importance of education and intelligence in shaping future careers.
Following the talk show, participants were divided into five mentoring groups, each focusing on a critical area for future success:
- Leadership Group
- Business and Community Development Group
- HC and Talent Development Group
- Digital Transformation Group
- Sustainability Impact Group
Each group was guided by five expert mentors, bringing together a wealth of experience and knowledge. The rest of the participants were then assigned to these groups, ensuring a personalized and focused mentoring experience.
Radita Sonix, the founder of IQ DEVPRO®, served as one of the five mentors in the HC and Talent Development Group. Radita shared his extensive experience in corporate leadership, highlighting his journey through national and multinational companies. He also discussed the motivation behind founding IQ DEVPRO® as a platform to share knowledge and foster skill development. Radita’s session focused on the importance of continuous learning, skill development, and the mindset required to succeed in today’s competitive business environment.
The “Bestari Connection Forum” provided participants with a unique opportunity to gain insights from industry leaders and engage in focused discussions tailored to their career aspirations. The forum successfully connected education with future career opportunities, emphasizing the importance of mentorship, skill development, and the pursuit of happiness in professional life.
